Gaffer/Cycles test
This project was meant to test out Gaffer and Cycles for environment work. But of course some procedural fun in Houdini had to be had.
Generating the bridge geo using low-res mesh as a guide.
Scene assembled in Blender using low-res assets.
The water simulation in Houdini, always suprising how much disk space you need for sims.
The final scene was assembled, shaded, lit and rendered in Gaffer using Cycles.
I prefer very lite comp approach, so basically just slapping layer together, this was also something Gaffer could handle. Final touches added in Davinci Resolve.
