I've been working in VFX and animation for more than 15 years in various roles, lately mostly as an Environment Artist and TD with a strong focus on natural environments and procedural generation. I enjoy solving both creative and technical problems. Houdini, Blender, and Gaffer are my weapons of choice, Python and VEX come in handy too. I've also been building a GPU path-tracing renderer as a hobby project — more on my blog.
